Indicator #1
Creates a list of oscillations, the list is public
It also triggers some alerts

Indicator #2
I access the list from Indicator #1 to draw some lines.

When indicator #2 is applied and running Indicator #1 generates alerts that no longer exist in the code. i.e. commented out then deleted. Indicator #2 generates no alerts so the only alerts can come from indicator #1 and they only happen when indicator #2 is running.


I recompiled and removed both indicators and reapplied but for some reason I am still getting these old alerts. I have searched the code on the alert messages and cannot find anything that would be triggered.

How do I debug this since I cannot find the code that is generating it. Is there a way to trap the alert if so could you supply an example.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of any way to trap the alert. Do you see/hear alerts when the indicators are removed from the chart?

May we review the code for these indicators?

I found it. It was hidden because I instantiated an instance of a different version so the alert was not directly searchable. Something to thing about for future versions in terms of the search criteria.
