Draw items disappearing from chart

I am finding that draw items from far back in the chart are not being draw as I scroll forward on the chart. Is this something to do with max lookback bars?

If one of the anchors is outside of the buffer of the chart (which is one charts length past the chart) then the drawing object will not be drawn.

Do your drawing objects have anchors that are outside of the chart?

If so, how far outside?

Yup they do, far away. Is there anyway to disable this?

No there is not a way to disable the fact that objects that are outside of the buffer of the chart are not drawn. This is part of how the backend of the charts work.

There is an undocumented, unsupported way to do what you want. Be very careful though: there is good reason for the defaults that NinjaTrader uses.

The usual caveats apply.

1. Edit Config,xml located in your base User Directory.
2. Change the AutoRemoveObjects tag value from the default "20".
