    Volume Confirmation Price Indicator

    Good Afternoon,

I have been looking online for a VPCI indicator (which works) that has the smoothed line such as the swingtrader VPCI (attached).

If anyone could be so kind enough to help me, it would be much appreciated !

    Cheers !

warren1990, welcome to our forums - we had this study once published for a TASC article but I don't think it was exported as NT7 came out. So here's a newer study attached where I added in an EMA smoothing as well with the LongTerm period.

    Thanks,

Quick question bertrand, it works however i cant get the volume to show with the Kinetick data.. Although the volume does not show am i right to assume that the indicator will still calculate from the unshown volume data.

Although Bertrand i am looking at a VWAP indicator on NT - i am just wondering whether it is correct as it uses the last 256 bars for the calculations i think however i through VWAP it should be daily, weekly or monthly etc sample size.. Do you know whether you have the same indicator or any additional info you can provide me ? Cheers.

Should be fine Warren. That's just the # of bars held in memory for programmatic access / reference for your series type objects (such as the DataSeries ones). It would not mean the indicator is only calculated using this amount of bars.
