how to make draw item non-selectable

I thought there was something that I put in initialize that makes draw items selectable or not selectable - can not find in docs or in forum

I am using drawrectangle and do not want it selectable

how do I do this?

DrawObjects are locked by default. That means that, while selectable, they cannot be moved. Are you trying to prevent their properties from being changed?
