Hi

I am using AutotrendH in a strategy and using the add function to include it in the chart. However, when I open a new chart and add AutotrendH as an indicator (using the same settings as used in the strategy) and compare the 2 charts, the results of the AutrendH indicator on the 2 charts quite often look different. As an example, when used via the strategy, the trend lines change more often than when just used as an indicator in a chart. Any ideas why this would occur?

Thank you for your post.

What are you setting the CalculateOnBarClose to?

Do both charts use the same amount of historical data for Days to Load?

Are you adding any additional data series to the Strategy script?

Hi.
Both charts have the following:

3 days for historical data
calculateonbarclose=false
The strategy has an additional indicator that uses order data.
I am using marketreplay as my connection for the data source.

Can you please attach screenshots of your setup and what you are seeing?

To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file, Click Reply -> Go Advanced -> Click the paperclip icon on the top toolbar.

Gjoyce,

One thing I noticed is that the Red lines are being drawn with a dot as well, and that the green line that is missing doesn't have this. Is it possible that this is a manually drawn line?
