Divergence Indicator

I am looking for a Divergence Indicator. For example when price starts to move up a 5 PEMA moves with the price and I would also like an indicator that would move opposite of the price at the same time. Is there an indicator like this available?

Hi Stevenxcel,

Just to clarify, this indicator would be supplied another indicator. The plots for these would start at the same point, for every tick in movement of the supplied indicator, this indicator will take that in the opposite direction. Is this correct?

Hello C,

The Divergence indicator would move opposite of price and it should not be based on price but VOLUME. The 5 PEMA is based on price but the Divergence Indicator I think Volume would be best.

Is there something available you know that would do this?

Could you be specific about the mechanics of how this would work?
(As in what data would cause what calculations to be made)

Does this mean that the indicator would not be mirroring another indicator?

For those who needs,the div indicators based on VOL indicator.

Set the Swingtype in Parameters to Percent and Swingsize to 0.3/0.5 and see if it can help in your trading.
