    Compiling Error

I am trying to import an indicator and error message. On compiling a file, it displays the following message without naming a script.

"An assembly with the same identity 'System.Data, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' has already been imported. Try removing one of the duplicate references. CS1703 - click for info 0 0"

    Hello ArbTrader,

Can you please right click in the code window and select References. Delete any duplicate references. Subsequently compile your NinjaScript files and check if they compile without error.

CS1703 doesn't have any help available. Also, this shows on every script I try to compile.

Were you unable to open the References window? Or did it not list any duplicate references?

You can delete references by highlighting them and click the Delete button.

          Here's what happened from start:
1.) Import script error (programming error)
2.) I open any script and try to compile, in order to find name of the script with error.
3.) I get the above error. It does not contain name of a script causing this error (empty space under NinjaScript File)
4.) When I click on 'CS1703-click for info' tab, it shows NoDoc in help section.

Hope this explain the complete issue.

          thanks,

Jason, I have a similar problem with NT8....but none of the below works. It keeps saying I have several issues in regards to assembly with same identity must be removed. I don't know how to remove, or even where they are in the first place. Please help.

                  Hello usdivers,

Please see the instructions below for NinjaTrader 8.

From the Control Center please select New--> NinjaScript Editor
In the NinjaScript Editor please right click and select References.
In the Reference window look for duplicate .DLL file references
If you see a duplicate .DLL file reference, please left click on the reference and select Remove
