MTF problem

Hello,

I am trying to develop an indicator that must operate solely on the unit over 30 minutes (see attached file).

Unfortunately I noticed that the values of Bollinger on the time frame of the chart instead on the 30 minutes.


I certainly made a mistake but I can not find it. Will you help me, please?

Thanks for the post Michel, i've given your script a quick run but don't see what you mean here. The values I get in return are stable for either primary chart, so it doesnt change the outcome for example if your study is charted from 1 min or 5 min timeframe as base. You will only see the plot set with a value for each 30 min interval (your added series).

Hello Bertrand,

You're right something is plotted every half hours but the value is wrong.

The purpose of this indicator is to define the number of ticks between Bollinger upper and Bollinger lower in 30 min time frame.

Unfortunately the number of ticks is calculated in primary chart instead of 30 min.

I'm not sure I follow you - how do you debug that? If you chart your BB up / dn values from the 30 min > those values fit exactly what the standalone 30 min chart would show. You then divide that by ticksize to arrive at your final indicator display.
