Dreaded Import NinjaScript Fail

Hi Support,

There have been a few occasions recently where due to customer feedback I have had to update and indicator file re-compile it and send it off to the customer to have it re-installed on their machine. I have requested that the customer has uninstalls the previous package and on every occasion they have received the "Duplicate method names error"

I am compiling with CII Secure. I don't have any compile errors on my end, and I dont have any issues importing the indicator onto my machine (after removing my working file)

Thank you for your post.

The file returns the same error on my end when I attempt to import the file by going to File > Utilities > Import NinjaScript.

So I took the .cs and .dll files out of the .zip and manually placed them into (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom > then opened a NinjaScript Editor in NinjaTrader and added the reference to the .dll file needed and compiled. The reason we get the import error is because in your installation you have a .dll that is referenced named 'ZigZagGS', while the users and I do not have this file or reference.

When exporting protected assemblies from your installation you will need to ensure you have a "clean" installation to export from. This means no other third party .dll files referenced in your installation. Either remove the assembly from your installation and export the protected assembly again or create a new installation to export your assemblies from that does not contain any other assemblies.
