How do i create a filter for this one?

protected override void OnBarUpdate()
{
if (Close[0] > Close[Math.Min(CurrentBar, X)])
// Do something
}
The resolution above substitutes the minimum value between the current bar being processed and the desired number of bars ago value, in this case 1.

What i mean by ''filter'' is that after the Current bar - [0], is formed i get the next froming bars which meets the criteria.How do i skip the next bar which meets the criteria by implying a filter?
