    Saving data programatically

    Hello support,

I am developing an indicator in which I am pulling large amount of data from data provider for multiple instruments. My question is, is there any way I can store this data to historical data or some cache programmatically so that next time indicator can get data in lesser time?

    Thanks,

Wajeeha, how do you download the data? If done via the Add() method the data downloaded I would expect to be stored in the local repository and used from the build up cache next time which is associated/maintained with your session template used.

      Thanks for the reply.

For some reason I can't use Add method instead I am using GetBar method to pull data bars for each instrument. Is there any alternative to store data bars that I get using GetBar method?

      Thanks,

Hi Wajeeha, would unfortunately not have an idea or workaround to point you to on this, even our Pivots indicator implementation of the undocumented GetBars async call will be in line with that.

I already have checked that indicator but found nothing that could help me in this issue.

          Thanks,
          Wajeeha
