MarketDataType Opening - is this OPG price?

Hello,

I found this datatype under OnMarketData() method. MarketDataType.Opening but the reference site was not clear.

1. So my question is will Opening return the opening auction price of the stock (for US EQUITY)?
2. Or is this simply the first print after the market opens?
3. Or,... none of the above?

Thanks for the post yjcho03, that would be the open price as given by your providers Level1 market data stream.

your anwser is as vague as the reference site.
Can you clearfy in case of KINETIC OR IQFEED
1. is it Opening auction price?
2. or is it simply the firs print?

Yes, for equities on IQFeed / Kinetick that will be the open price.
