background color question

hi, I have an indicator that colors the chart's background ... but I want to run this indicator in a panel on the bottom of my chart, and only color the background of that panel. Please advise ... thank you!

Set Overlay to false to ensure the indicator is added to a new panel: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...t7/overlay.htm

Hi. Searching to find a solution to the same question as the original posted here. I looked at the links provided and followed instructions but just got errors when attempting to compile.Any possibility of being more specific as to what has to go where to get the color into a separate panel ?

Sorry for the delay Bertrand. Put together a clean slate and added the first bit of code as explained in the example link you provided. Did not attempt step two because of step one errors. I will have to send the pic to support as there is no attachment possibility in this thread...that I can see anyway.
