    SWAMI indicator problem

I've loosely based my custom indicator on Swami Stochastic:

Unfortunately my unfinished indicator seems to suffer from the same problem as the original: it rarely displays the spectrogram across entire chart - sometimes it's 10 bars, 20, 50, etc.
I didn't see this problem with Swami Wave.

Since it was uploaded by NinjaTrader_RyanM - do you have any ideas how to fix it?

gregid, out of the box I'm not aware of anything - would you see any errors / exceptions in the NT log as this occurs?

Unfortunately there are no exceptions, log and trace file is clear.

Can you confirm the Swami Stochastic behaves the same way on your machine?

Will check it here, do you see this only for forex markets and / or this specific time frame used? Which data provider are you using here?

At the moment I am not connected to anything and using local historical data. It behaves the same way on every instrument and chart type I tried (but have only forex)

I have quickly checked the Swami Stochastics on my machine. There are no problems with the indicator on my side, in particular no disruptions.

The only thing you need to take into account is that the Swami Stochastics comes with a colorful high resolution plot with higher RAM requirements than the standard NinjaTrader indicator.

            For example:

-> NinjaTrader control center without any chart: RAM usage 140 MB
-> a 5 min chart with a lookback period of 7 years: additional RAM usage 760 MB

If your PC is not well equiped with RAM, and if you open a few Swami charts, then you will run into memory issues. Otherwise, I cannot see any probems. I have also tested a $EURGBP chart as per your screenshot below, and it plotted properly.

                Thanks Bertrand

Yes, that fixes the problem, which seemed to be lambda outside of [0,1] bounds

Great, thanks for the update. Correct, that's what we updated to 'bound'.

Export the indicator WoodiesCCI from NT

                    Hello!
I need to export the indicator WoodiesCCI from NT. I thought everything would be easy: File -> Utilitiz -> Export, etc., but
                    First, Woody was not in the folder Indicators, which opens for export and I do not know where else you can find the indicator WoodiesCCI;
Secondly, when I tried to export any indicator from the list folder Indicators program writes an error message "Invalid charactor in file name".
                    Help me, please, if possible.
Thank you in advance, Elena (sorry for my english).

Elena, Woodie CCI in NT could not be exported nor could it source code be reviewed, as it's a proprietary study implemented according to Woodie. It can be used by any NT users without special licensing though.

For your export - which file name did you choose?

For a future issue or question - we would ask you please create a new thread in the appropriate forum section. Thanks and have a great day.
