    Memory Management

    Hello,
I have been overloading ninja and having frequent crashes. Its my fault I know. I have only been programming a few years and have a lot to learn.

It would help greatly if there was some way to get a warning when I am running low on memory either by loading too much historical data or by loading too many indicators. Is there a way I can wire an indicator that show how much memory is left?

Any Ideas? I keep loosing un saved work.. either back testing or work spaces. . I have 12 gigs of ram. Ninja never uses more tun 3 gigs it seems.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hello westsider,

I will forward your suggestion to our development team.

.NET is going to handle the memory management of NinjaTrader since it uses the .NET 3.5 Framework. More information about the Memory limits of this can e found at the following link.

Thanks - I'll check that out and if I can make an indicator I will upload it.
