Thanking those that help you - Method

Seems silly that I have to ask how to Thank someone because I guess I have been doing it incorrectly. My profile says I have thanked 0 and I thought I had thanked everyone who has helped me by replying to the post and saying Thanks so-and-so. Please outline the proper way to thank someone who has replied to one of my posts as I am indeed thankful and want to do this properly.

You do not see the "THANKS" button?

Pretty much: you will see under the post that you are listed as having thanked the poster. Have another look at all the posts in this thread, and you will see where you are listed as having thanked me for my previous post, to which you responded with the next question.
