help with simple indicator

I have been given a simple formula for a oscillator type indicator by an individual who has been trading since 1965 when you actually had to figure this stuff out the hard way but when used correctly is very effective. I do not want to go into details on how it works until i can get it done, i have no experience in doing this but i am willing to share what this indicator represents. I am not sure how i can get a private message sent to me here on forum. I would rather send the formula privately. Thank You
