How to reset variable at specific time

I have an On Balance Volume indi with a variable that holds a running tally of the vol. I set the variable to 0 on the first bar. I want to reset the variable to 0 every day at a specific time, say 1:00am.

I've tried to figure this out using the ToTime method, but I can't get it to work.

Can anyone give me some suggestions on how to reset at a specific time?

Hi RonKiker,

Thank you for posting.

ToTime(Time[0]) will give the value as HHMMSS.

You can then build a condition as such -

if(ToTime(Time[0]) == 010000)
{
// reset variable
}

This will reset your variable when the current time is equal to 1:00 AM.
Note that this has to be the exact time. If you want you have it reset between a certain time frame by adding a greater than to the current 010000 and creating a secondary time frame.

Such as -
[CODE]
if(ToTime(Time[0]) >= 010000 && ToTime(Time[0]) <= 010100)
{
// reset variable
}

This time frame is between 1:00 and 1:01 AM
