No Indicators printing to Output Window

Good evening all,

I have no indicators loaded on a chart, but I have Print Statements from past indicators printing to the Output Window.

This happens when I Right Click on the chart, select "Indicators" and the window opens.
It does not happen when I Right Click on the chart and select "Reload Indicators".

Earlier, I had some Log Messages that a couple of indicators "could not be deserialized".

Creating a new Workspace has not helped.
There are no other Workspaces open.

This does not seem normal, would you help me resolve this ?

Bruce, sorry I'm not sure I follow you here - what exact Prints do you see? Initialize() would be called across all scripts when you open the indicators dialog windows, so even with no script applied then at this state I would expect those prints to come through.

Hi Bertrand,

"Initialize() would be called across all scripts", by "all scripts", you mean every Indicator and Strategy saved in NinjaTrader, even if there not on a chart ? All 200+ Indicators & Strats, in my case ?

Yes, but should have been more clear - across all indicators / across all strategies separately, so an indicator print would not come through if you add a strategy for example.

OK, so it is "Normal" and to be expected, great !! Wow, now all I gotta do is figure out what indicators & strats I stuck those Print statements into "Initialize()". It seemed like a good idea at the time . . .

While I'm at it, I guess I'll include an "ID" in the print statement.

You can search within files at least with the old windows XP.. I think that's default behavior on new windows.

Or you could get a 3rd party tool to do it (textpad, some sort of filegrep for windows).

Just search your folder: (might be different on some flavors of windows)

C:\Users\{username}\Documents\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom
