Is there anything I can use from the NT arsenal to get alerted if the MACD trendline is broken? I use EOD data so if alert wouldn't work (email/sound), printing smth. into Output window instead would be great.
I've developed an "automatic" MACD trendline which I'd like to test:
I've implemented a DrawTrendChannel on the MACD line. 1 trendline is plotted rather than channel, but that's what I needed. (I needed a trendline crossing both MACD swings with its plot lasting behind 2nd swing (classic trend), DrawLine only connects 2 swings with plot limited by 2 dots).
I've noticed there's an indicator called "alert for manually drawn lines", but my line is "automatic" so I wonder if there's a better match in this case.
