Time segments for indicator

I have an indicator and I enter High, low numbers manually to get the indicator to output horizontal lines. What I am wanting to do is have it retrieve the highs and lows over the past 6 hours (or whatever variable I choose) to input and redraw the lines. In other words to automate what I am doing manually. Is there another indicator that goes back in time or redraws every set amount of time that I can look at ? Any suggestions on some indicators to look at. I can look at the code and maybe figure it out and adapt to mine. Or if anyone knows how to do it, that would be great. Any and all help is welcome. I am not a programmer and am learning Ninjatrader as I go. thanks.
