    custom property name

    I have a property in my indicator whose name needs to be with spaces and is different than the variable name. Can I specify this in the property decorators?

    Hello onnb1,

    Thank you for your post.

    This is possible by using Gui.Design.DisplayNameAttribute in the Properties section. An example of this is below:
    Code:
    		[Description("My Parameter")]
    		[GridCategory("Parameters")]
    		[B][Gui.Design.DisplayNameAttribute("My Parameter")][/B]
    		public double parameter
    		{
    			get { return parameter; }
    			set { parameter = Math.Max(0.01, value); }
    		}
    Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

      On another note I have noticed that if the [GridCategory("Parameters")] is something other than "Parameters" then those identifiers will not be an actual parameter in the indicator if you wish to use it like ... Indicator(Param1, Param2). Sooo, to rename the grid parameter to something else you use [Gui.Design.DisplayNameAttribute("My Parameter")], ... correct?

          by Indicator(Param1, Param2) you mean the indicator constructor method?
