Reduced Volume

Hi,
Looking for someone making modification at common volume indicator (VOL). The aim is to adjust the displayed volume according to range of bar as follows.

Reduced volume: RVOL = VOL / (H-L+1)

Hi Jiri,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the forum!

To get the reduced volume that you are looking for you will need to use this code

double RVOL = Volume[0]/(High[0] - Low[0] + 1);

You will need to add a plot type in the code as well. I have attached a link below to our online help guide on how to add plots to your code. http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...x.html?add.htm

As, well as setting the indicator value which look like this

Value.Set(RVOL);

Both of the codes listed above will go in the OnBarUpdate() portion of the code, while the adding the plot type will be in the Initialize() portion.
