    plot on panel question

    hi all,

I have an indicator that produces values that are on a different scale then price.
When I have the indicator panel property set to "Same as Input series" I don't "see" it which I understand because the chart shows the areas of the price bars by default. As the Y values are quite different, I don't see my indicator plot.

My indicator overrides plot, it displays plots as candles and I used the "Heikin Ashi" indicator that ships with NT as my starting point.

When I move the indicator to panel 1, I am getting the same behavior - panel one has the same scale as the Input series panel. Is that by design?

I want the indicator to take over the main panel when it is loaded - Is there anything I need to do in order to get the indicator to adjust the Y scale/range so that it is showing properly?

    Onn

When you have it set to "Same as input series", change the "Scale justification" to overlay.

This will simply overlay the plot ontop of the main input price scale.
