    Can I alter MACD?

Hi, I would like to take MACD and rather than compare 2 ma's from one instrument, I'd like to compare 2 ma's from 2 instruments.

Is the MACD code available to copy and paste and edit?

    Hello Jay Trades,

You may use the "Save As" ability to have the same source code as the Indicator that you are saving it from so that you can change it without modifying the orginal one. To do this go the Control Center -> Tools -> Edit NinjaScript -> Indicators. Then double left click on the indicator that you want to have the original code from for example the "MACD". It will then open up the source code for the indicator. Right click inside the window and select Save As. Type in a name of your choosing then press "Save". Press the "OK" button. Now you have a new indicator based off the system indicator code that you can modify.

You may read more on Multi-Time Frame and instruments on our online help guide at the following link.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
