Volume ma indictor rth help

Hi I am using the VOLMA indicator that came with Ninjatrader. However, I have one issue that I need help with. I trade on the RTH (regular trading hours) when it analysis the VOLMA (10 bars back) sometime it uses yesterdays data to calculated the MA. However, I do not want that. I want the VOLMA to start calculating from the beginning of the day nothing from yesterday. what is the code I need to put in to make this happen.

Thanks for your note.

You have to reset the values on the start of a new session to do it. You may refer to the VWAP indicator which is on similar lines.

Hello wallsteetking,
In the VWAP indicator the VWAP is recalculated as per codes in 148-163.

Please note, the VWAP indicator and the VOLMA indicators are different in structure so a exact replica may not work, however the basic idea is the same.
