Uvol dvol

I would like to have the difference (spread) of UVOL - DVOL as an indicator under my chart.

I found 2 indicators this one is especially good

Spread indicator with candlesticks.

The problem is the primary symbol is the chart that is being plotted so if I have UVOL as my chart I can enter DVOL and will get a candlestick chart indicator of the difference.

I would like to have a seperate chart with this indicator at the bottom.

Basically I want the ES as my main chart and the UVOL - DVOL as the bottom indicator.

I looked at the code but was lost trying to figure out how to make the change.


Any advice how I might accomplish this

Hi Stefan, it looks like you would need to add in another input for another added custom series, so you can then calculate in the code with the BarsArray 1 and 2, neglecting the primary one that would be your ES chart in the setup.

I will give that a try.

I haven't done this before but it should be a good learning experience.

Do you think it would be easier to start from scratch?
