OnBarUpdate Variables

Hello,

I have the following code in OnMarketData method, however I have some issues displaying my indicator information.

There is some information displayed in my CurrentBar and it should be displayed in the next one.

I am sure the reason why that happen is:

"With NinjaTrader being multi-threaded, you should not rely on any particular sequence of events like OnMarketData() always being called before OnBarUpdate() or vice versa."

So, I would like to move this logic to OnBarUpdate, and work only with that method.

Could you please let me know how to code this in OnBarUpdate?.

Ronald, correct CurrentBar is tied to OnBarUpdate(), you could not rely on it to always align with your calls in OnMarketData() as they listen to different events.

You can access the Bid / Ask / Last in OnBarUpdate() with GetCurrentBid / GetCurrentAsk (Last is Close[0] on CalculateOnBarClose = false.
