donchian channel of macd

How would I apply a donchian channel to a macd.
I cant quite get my head around this.

If you want to use it for a chart:

Select the Donchian Channel via indicator dialogue box and select the MACD as the input series. Also make sure that you apply the Donchian Channel to a new panel.

Below attached is a chart, where I have added both the Donchian Channel for a MACD and the MACD itself.

If you wish to use the Donchian Channel applied to the MACD within a strategy or another indicator then the formulae

myUpperValue = DonchianChannel(MACD(12, 26, 9), 20).Upper[0];
myLowererValue = DonchianChannel(MACD(12, 26, 9), 20).Lower[0];

will allow you to collect the proper values.
