CalculateOnBarClose

HI

I am developing an indicator that will run with CalculateOnBarClose = False, however there are certain bits of logic that I would like to have run only on the last tick of the bar (or the close of the bar). Is there something similiar to FirstTickOfBar but for the close?

Or any way to tell if the current OnBarUpdate() call if for the close of the bar?

Hello jlotito,

You can use the FirstTickOfBar() and check the previous bars value since the last tick that closes the bar and the tick that triggers the FirstTickOfBar() are going to be the same tick.

Hello jlotito,

That can depend on what you are looking for as the trouble is the last tick that of a bar is going to close the the bar and open up the first tick of the new bar.

What type period type and value are you using?
