Compile error cs0021

I was working on a new indicator incorporating 'Volume[0]'
however, when compiling I get the error CS0021
I went back and looked at the VOL indicator and it uses the same 'Volume[0]'
and when I try to compile the exact indicator that came with Ninjatrader I get the same compile error CS0021
I did try the suggestion in the help under the CS0021 error by putting 'Volume()[0]' but to no avail. What am I doing wrong? Why does it work for the original VOL indicator and not for me?

Welcome to our forums - could you please post a screenshot of the exact compile errors you would get and the code you used? You would have to keep in mind that error from other scripts could be showing for your currently edited script - this is because NinjaTrader always compiles all your custom NinjaScript files into one assembly to be used at runtime for highest performance.

Yes, I was receiving errors from other compiles. I did manage to figure it out.
