Color properties of my custom indicator reseting to white after compile

Hi;
I have developed an indicator and pass in a couple of color parameters. In the indicator I have set the default color to red.

I have now added the indicator to a chart, changed the color in the Property window when adding the indicator. I then right clicked on the color to make this the new default when using this indicator.

So far so good, when I now close the workspace, recompile the indicator, suddenly I can't see the objects on the chart anymore. This is because the color property has been reset to white. White foreground on white background results in invisible.

How can I fix this again, so I don't need to set the colors new with every recompile?

Tested it again, this behaviour does not seem to have anything to do with the re-compile. When I close the workspace (with changed colors) and re-open workspace it defaults to white.

This would be expected per default, as your color input set could not be serialized - please read through this tip here and apply the technique offered to code this behavior into your script -
