    How to modify an Oscillator to plot between 100 and -100?

    Hi,

    I am using Fisher Transform indicator. How can I modify this oscillator to plot between 100 and -100, similar to RSI or Stochastics oscillators?

    Thanks>

    The same way that you center then scale any oscillator.

    Select your lookback period.
    For the lookback period calulate: (CurrentValue - MinimumValue) / (MaximumValue - MinimumValue).
    That scales the CurrentValue as a fraction of the span of the data. So MUST have a value between 0 and 1.
    If you want to scale that between 100 and -100, you have to center the value about zero instead of 0.5, so subtract 0.5 from the values. That now causes the values to span from -0.5 to 0.5. Multiply that by 200, and it will span -100 to 100.

    Net result:

    OscillatorValue = ((CurrentValue - MinimumValue) / (MaximumValue - MinimumValue) - 0.5) * 200;
