Using enum for user selection box
I can create an enum outside of the NinjaTrader namespace (calling it "Josh" for example) in my indicator, and use this enum to allow the user to select options in the indicator preferences. However, when I put this enum inside the NT namespace (just below the indicator class code), calls referencing this enum in the indicator code cannot seem to find it. Why would this be?Tags: None

Your structure definitions must thave the correct access level. If you want to declare your enum inside the class, you should probably be declaring the enum as protected. Of course, that is if you want the enum to only be accessible inside the class.Originally posted by JoshDance View PostI can create an enum outside of the NinjaTrader namespace (calling it "Josh" for example) in my indicator, and use this enum to allow the user to select options in the indicator preferences.
