    plot at (x,y) where x != currentbar and y=price

    Hi,
    Sorry if I am naive - I am a newbie trying to write my 1st indicator. I thought I would venture into plotting Market Profile. As price tick comes in I would like to plot at a different x-coordinate, rather than on the currentbar/currenttime, so that I get a compressed histogram of price frequencies.

    Please let me know how I do that, calling which function.

    Thanks,
    -balu raman

    braman09, welcome to our forums here - you would need to work via custom plotting options via the overriden Plot() method as shown in our CustomPlotExample / PowerVolume indicators installed per default with NT.

    Unfortunately we could not support those approaches though other than what's provided in the examples for experienced programmers.

    All the best,
