Create On Balance Volume Alert

Hi

I do not have a clue on how to programm, what im looking for is very simple but like I say I do not have any idea and I have read that to create an alert in the market analyzer you need to create a custom indicator.

I would like to know how to create an indicator to later be able to create an alert, the indicator is very simple and is as follow: current week (bar 0) on balance volume is higher than the on balance volume from four weeks ago (bar 3) and that calculatets real time not at the close.

Any advise would be appreciated

I have attached something you may use. I made it real quick over here on my end. Please note we typically don't make custom indicators for customers, as our NinjaScript consultant partners fulfill this role. We must help all customers equally and coding custom projects and debugging can take up too much time to spend with customers requesting other forms of assistance.

The indicator returns 1 if the current week has greater OBV than X weeks ago. Otherwise, its 0. I would suggest trying it out on a chart first to get the hang of how it works.
