Managing a sound file when exporting - used by PlaySound()

I have an indicator which plays a sound using PlaySound() and at the moment I am just keeping the wav file in the NinjaTrader installation sounds directory.

When I export the indicator, the wav file is not included in the zip.

Is there something I am missing or do I have to include the wav file manually when I do this?

    Hello,

    Thanks for the note.

Correct you would want to copy the sound file in manually. This is one reason why some users will create unsupported custom installers if you need to place a support file in a specific directory.

You most likely wont be able to get the NT ZIP file to import the sound into the sound folder however it will place it in the My Documents->NinjaTrader 7 folder and you can give put it anywhere in here. The folder location is what is used in the .zip as it was unzipped.
