I need what would probably be the easiest set of indicators in the world for a knowledgeable person to write.
I would like an indicator that looks at the shape of a candlestick and is similar to a hammer or inverted hammer.
This indicator will be used with the market analyzer and I would like to see a value of 0 returned unless one of the following 2 condition sets are met (in which case I'd like a 1 returned).
Bar Conditions #1:
1. The open is in the top 30% of the bar.
2. The close is in the top 30% of the bar.
3. The bottom 25% (or more) of the bar is lower than the low of the preceding 4 bars.
Bar Conditions #2:
1. The open is in the bottom 30% of the bar.
2. The close is in the bottom 30% of the bar.
3. The top 25% (or more) of the bar is higher than the high of the preceding 4 bars.
That's it! I would use this indicator to scan several hundred listings looking for a bar of this shape, so, like I said, I would use this indicator in the Market Analyzer to make that scan and quickly point out the markets where this is occurring. Also I would only be using this on 1 day and longer time frames, if that matters.
