Adding Multi Instrument based on base instrument period

Hi,

In a multi-bar indicator, is there a way to dynamically add a secondary based on the periodtype of the base instrument.

For example, if base instrument is ES-minute, I'd like to Add(PeriodType.Day,1).
If base instrument is ES-daily, I'd like it to be Add(PeriodType.Week,1), etc.

I guess what I'm asking is for the syntax to access the base instrument's Periodtype, so I can create an if statement under Initialize() to add the appropriate secondary instrument.

There is an indicator called Spread as well as SpreadCandlesticks in our indicator library that show how to do something like this in their Initialize() method. I would suggest checking it out.
