New Bar Open

Is there a good way to call on the opening tick of a bar? I want to say

if (newbar)
//do something

So far, the best way I came up with is high=low, however that remains for all ticks that trade at that level.

Using FirstTickOfBar you can determine if the incoming tick is the first tick of a new bar.
