Indicator and EOD-Feed

my question is related to

Does that mean, that the Indicator-Values of the last day bar are nor available before stock market opening at the next day?

In that case it would be impossible to generate signals for EOD offline trading with Ninjatrader.

I trade stocks and ETFs EOD, wenn market is closed. Currently, I use the Kinnetic and Yahoo EOD-feeds. But the same problem should occur with realtime feeds, because the first tick of the new bar arrives not before market opening.

Thanks for your post and I am happy to assist you.

If you are using Kinetick EOD connection (free), then the EOD bar for the current day will be there after 4:15PM. You will be able to access the last bar provided you set CalculateOnBarClose == false.

I have a related question.

I'm using the Kinetick EOD (free) as well since there's a problem with TDA.dll. How do I pull the daily close price on the Market Scanner? My indicators will fill their value correctly, but I can't find a field for "daily close" listed under Columns.

Thanks for your post and I am happy to assist you.

Unfortunately there is no Daily Close column. The Last Price column works as Daily Close. But you need realtime data to get it updated.

As an alternative, you can put up a SMA indicator with a period value of 1. This will give you the values of the Daily Close with Kinetick EOD data.
