Need help with indicator

Hello,

I've found the Index indicator on the site and need some help.

I'm trying to get the difference of 2 indexes - NUPI and NDNI (Nasdaq Up and Down Issues) as my custom index. I've entered:

SymbolList: NUPI,NDNI
WeightList: 1,-1
Divisor: 1

but nothing is plotted on the chart. Just a blank screen. NUPI and NDNI are plotted OK.

What do I miss? Please, help.

Also, is there a way to plot Index data as candlesticks, not line?

Hello Serge, we would unfortunately not be very familiar with the custom indicator you attempted using - do you get any errors messages as you apply it to your charts then?

No. Not any error messages. Just blank screen with a scale from 0 to 1 on the right and Index as a label.

In NT7, symbols of type "Index" such as NUPI and NDNI (also DJIA & SP500) require a "^" character in front of the symbol: ^NUPI, ^NDNI, ^DJIA, ^SP500.
