Adding a Plot to an Indicator that doesn't have one

I have an indicator that does a number of things, but doesn't have any defined plots. I'd like to add a plot to it now though, and I was wondering if there was a checklist or any documentation for adding a new plot to any indicator that previously didn't have one.

I'm pretty close to a neophyte at coding these, so typically when I need a plot I run the wizard and let NT do most of the code heavy lifting. Can anyone point me in the right direction of things I need to do to define a plot or have suggestions?
