Thanks Taddy,you`ve been generous enough to dumb it down for me.Again,thank you.Now it works perfectly for me.The onle last thing i`d like to ask is to add an email alert for the above and below the constant value we choose.Let it trigger at 1001(no more no less),and at 999(no more no less) ,as well.Would you be kind enough to help me with that one?In the email text i`d like to have a full instrument name the time of the alert and some additional text as a remainder.

I've never worked with email in a script so won't be able to help. Maybe someone else reading this thread will chime in. If not, you might have to start a new thread with "need script to send an email" in the title.

Thanks a lot for your support.It seems as the color alert is triggering with no problem<but when i add an email logic to it,it doesn`t send an email at all.It`s probably morre complkex task then i initially tthought.But thanks anyway!
