Why doesn't indicator paint while bar is forming?
I wrote an indicator which works best when I can see the indicator value as the bar is forming. The indicator doesn't paint until after the bar is closed and the next bar has opened. I'm using market replay data, at the 5 minute timeframe. I downloaded minute and daily data. So I can understand if the bar doesn't paint until after the first minute of the five minute bar has completed. But it shouldn't have to wait until the whole 5 minutes has completed to paint.
Is there a way to get the indicator to draw while the bar is forming? Thanks.!
