any way to get Idrawobject from tag without looping?

I have numerous items draw - lines, up arrows, down arrows, text

I keep track of important up arrows and down arrows using their tag - allows be to remove them later based on logic

ultimate goal is to change the color of the item just knowing it's tag

due to large number of times, loop to compare would consume far too many cycles...

looking for a direc way such as tag.color = bla

any ideas or areas to point me towards....

Put different types into separate ArrayLists. That way to find a type, since you already know what type you are seeking, you only need to look for the reference in the relevant ArrayList.
