Data - Getting more than 256 Days

I want to work with weekly charts, have the Data Series type set to Week, it says it will load 1825 days of data, but seems to only load 256 days. How do you override the 256 day limit?

Depends on the symbol and the provider.

• Does the symbol have the 1825 days of data? ie., is the equity old enough?
• Does the data provider have enough historical data?

The symbol does, my data provider is IB.

Try connecting to Kinetic EOD free or Yahoo or Google as your data source first. Remember to store data as Historical in the options.

It seems that IB just does not have enough historical data. I had pretty much the same problem with MBTrading.
