An MA Crossover not sure what you mean here. You want the indicator to indicate what when MA cross over occurs?

Also, we have an indicator build into NinjaTrader called the MACD which is build off principal of ME crossovers.

yes say the 8 period crosses 14 period then an alert is raised

This would take custom programming.
