Alert indicator for Market Analyzer

Hi all,

many maybe will agree that alerts are a bit of the weak side of NT - which has lots of very good one of course...

My idea - or need - would be to get an indicator which is a MA column where you punch in the price you want the be alerted if reached.

Is this doable? I'm not talking about email alerts yet, which are maybe another topic.

Yes, you can create either audible alert or visual alert in the Market Analyzer by adding an indicator column.

but what I need is an indicator, which is "flexible" in a way that say you watch a price level and want to be alerted when price gets there.

So one should be able to just insert a certain price triggering an alert. I know that there is the price alert indicator for charts, but this one is really far away from beeing handy.

In general I believe that NT has a lot of room to improve here - and maybe using the MA - which offers some great possibilities in general - could be a way to do it.
