    Unchanged script now giving error

    After installing the latest version of NT, some of my indicators give this error;
    Cannot apply indexing with [] to an expression of type 'method group'
    Just opening the indicator and compiling it without changes, now gives the error

    This is the code;
    Code:
    [SIZE=2][FONT=Courier New][SIZE=2][FONT=Courier New]RegressionChannel(regressionLookBackPeriod, [/FONT][/SIZE][/FONT][/SIZE][FONT=Courier New][SIZE=2][COLOR=#800080][FONT=Courier New][SIZE=2][COLOR=#800080][FONT=Courier New][SIZE=2][COLOR=#800080]4[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][FONT=Courier New][SIZE=2][FONT=Courier New][SIZE=2]).Slope[[/SIZE][/FONT][/SIZE][/FONT][FONT=Courier New][SIZE=2][COLOR=#800080][FONT=Courier New][SIZE=2][COLOR=#800080][FONT=Courier New][SIZE=2][COLOR=#800080]0[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][FONT=Courier New][SIZE=2][FONT=Courier New][SIZE=2]] > [/SIZE][/FONT][/SIZE][/FONT][FONT=Courier New][SIZE=2][COLOR=#800080][FONT=Courier New][SIZE=2][COLOR=#800080][FONT=Courier New][SIZE=2][COLOR=#800080]0[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]
    [/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]
    It is part of an "if" statement.

    astrolobe, could you perhaps email me the script with the issue to support at ninjartrader dot com?

    There were several visual changes in the Regression Channel indicator for R7, but I don't believe this should impact your compilation.

    Thanks,

      Hi Bertrand,
      If I replace Slope for Upper it compiles. I think the signature of your slope method may have changed. Could you try any simple code that uses the slope of the regression channel to see if you can get it to compile.
      thanks

        Hi astrolobe, thanks and correct, the call to Slope would fail to compile then for me as well - the RegressionChannel indicator would offer those documented values to be accessed : Upper, Lower and Middle

          But this used to work this morning before I installed the latest update to R7. How do I determine the slope of a regression channel?

            You can use the dedicated Linear Regression Slope indicator / method for this task -
